After we had organized everything so perfectly, we were finally able to set off.
Our first long-distance flight was about to begin.
We flew with Emirates, and everything was perfect.
After landing in Dubai, we took a taxi to our hotel, which was like a city tour in itself.
Our hotel was almost forty kilometers away ❤️ and beautifully situated on the Dubai Marina.
Our hotel, the Rove Marina, was absolutely fantastic!
Great service from Omar and everyone else, wonderful rooms, and the breakfast was perfect.
The next day, we started with a trip to the Palm Jumeirah and, of course, a quick dip in the water.
The Palm Jumeirah is the largest man-made sand sculpture in the world.

With many residential areas, attractions, restaurants, and hotels.
Of course, we also had to go swimming every now and then.
The days flew by, and we experienced wonderful and breathtaking moments every day.
The X-Line was absolutely amazing.

We zip-lined up between the skyscrapers.
This is an experience no one should miss. Just like the amazing safari:
We were driven into the desert, where we then got to ride quad bikes for almost an hour – so cool! 😎
Afterwards, we went to the campsite for a live music and dance show.
In the evening, there was a great buffet. .
Time flew by, but we saw and experienced so much.
The old town was absolutely fantastic, and we mustn't forget the Gold Souk.
There, we even got to try our first camel milk ice cream. It tastes incredibly good, and you should definitely try it sometime.
Afterwards, we took the elevator up to the 148th floor of the Burj Khalifa. It was interesting, but we wouldn't do it again. However, the water show afterwards was absolutely amazing. A must-see in Dubai.
The Ain (the world's largest Ferris wheel) was unfortunately out of service, but there was a great light show from it every evening.
We didn't visit the museum, and we also didn't have time to see the amazing light garden.
But of course, we still had to visit The Frame, the world's largest picture frame.
The Frame is 150 meters high, and you take an elevator up and then walk across glass to the other end. It's pretty cool how small the cars and people looked.
The Bu Qtair fish restaurant we visited afterwards was absolutely amazing. We have never eaten such good fish and crab in our lives.
The bus ride to Abu Dhabi, and thus to one of the largest mosques, was simply breathtaking.
It's truly incredible how magnificent it is.
What we noticed was that wherever we went, everything was spotless; you could have eaten off the floor, even in the public restrooms.
Unlike in other countries.
To cap off our wonderful vacation, we took an evening boat tour with live music and delicious food.
It was a wonderful holiday that we will certainly not forget, and we will definitely fly to Dubai again.
