Why Travel?

Quite simply: we want to travel in the future, preferably a lot, even better forever. Of course, our partners, our health, and last but not least, our finances have to cooperate.

Why Next Level?

Quite simply: because we want to take our personal travel experience to the next level. So far, we haven't undertaken any major trips. Our destinations have been rather limited, from Rügen to the South of France. That was nice, very nice indeed. However, our two children have shown us that the earth consists of other continents and that you can't explore them just by tracing them on a map. Therefore, if all goes well, we want to follow in their footsteps and hit the road ourselves.

Why 24?

The day has 24 hours,

The Advent calendar has 24 doors,

who doesn't know it? The good old 24-inch TV.

There's even a paragraph 24 in the German Criminal Code (StGB), yes, and a TV series too, and all businesses that market themselves as modern have a 24 in their name somewhere.

But for us, the number 24 comes before the year 2024. That's when the two BEHREN plan to retire and then go on a big tour.

So, now you are one of the few insiders who know about name creation.

We would of course be delighted if one or two of you would accompany us virtually on our journey and perhaps even keep in touch with us.

We're certainly not professionals. We still have a long way to go. Right now, we're grateful for your other tip. Later, however, we'd be happy to share our experiences and tips with you so that you might benefit from them too.
